Chops is a 3-year-old Shetland living on a farm nestled in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. His name is short for “lamb chops,” a cheeky choice for a sheep whose job is growing beautiful wool. His fleece becomes our felt bag charms, bringing a little of his farm life along on your daily adventures.
Summer days find Chops grazing the pastures and munching invasive plants to help care for the land. His favorite is buckthorn, and he never seems to tire of it. When winter arrives, he hunkers down with hay and the company of his flock.
Chops’s coloring is called Moorit, and his closest companion is a sheep named Uno. The two spend plenty of time exploring together, finding out what’s happening in their corner of the farm.
